AKVINTA® VODKA MAKES DEBUT IN U.S. MARKET

This marks the first of many expansions outside of Europe for the brand and with the help of Genesis Distributing, the new super-premium vodka will make its premiere in New York, New Jersey and California

Akvinta is triple distilled and filtered through a patented Quintuple Filtration process, which is made up of five natural filters:
- Birch Charcoal — purifies the water to reduce impurities and contributes to the taste
- Marble — reproduces the natural filtration process found when rain water is purified in a natural spring
- Silver — softens and smoothes the taste
- Gold — adds warmth to the taste
- Platinum — unifies all components and adds half-tones to the after taste
With no additives, this refined vodka goes well with mixed drinks, such as a classic vodka Martini or cocktails with citrus and fruit ingredients, over ice or at room temperature by itself. On the nose, Akvinta emits a light, but sweet lemon citrus fragrance, has a slight peppery taste and a creamy finish with no burn. The Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) of Chicago gave Akvinta the title of 'exceptional' based on its smoothness earning the vodka a Gold Medal at The International Review of Spirits in 2007.

Akvinta is exquisitely packaged in a crystal clear bottle highlighting the vodka's main ingredient, sparkling Dalmatian spring water. The luxurious bottle designed by Lewis Moberly of London has a red glaze on the bottom to reflect the Mediterranean warmth, color and style, a gold V in the logo and a seal verifying the Quintuple Filtration process. Akvinta has received several prestigious awards including the Mobius Award for Design and Packaging and a Gold medal for Design and Packaging from Drinks Business. Akvinta is available in 750ml and 1.0L.
A comprehensive array of marketing communication initiatives are being used for the U.S. introduction of Akvinta Vodka including advertising in prominent New York and trade publications; consumer and trade public relations support; social media marketing; website development; fashion industry and other event sponsorships such as being the official vodka sponsor of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week; and product placement on Virgin Atlantic Airlines.
